I posted the two photos to show the different rocker panel moldings used on the Nova and Nova SS when the Exterior Décor option was ordered. You can see the car in question does not have an SS molding. Those that feel it's a clone are IMO correct.

I was referring to the red car with red interior I believe that was a 1969 only option. Not in 1970 as pictured.

True,Black,Blue,Gold,Green and Sandalwood were the only 1970 Nova interior colors offered.
Blue & Green Bench only.

We'll let the experts chime in, but I am 99.99% sure that BOTH of those side / rocker trim packages in the brochure art you posted could be had with the SS option. The different trim isn't because one is an SS and the other is a 4-door. Its just a different RPO trim package. The one shown on the SS was also available on non-ss cars, blacked out rockers and all.

My Nova is not an SS but did come with that trim package as verified by the original build sheet. You could have ordered just about anything it seems. My car also came with factory dual exhaust, but not an SS. Just about impossible to verify anything being an SS unless you have the original drivetrain or paperwork.
