Default UPDATE!! Dads 77 Z/28 is coming back home

I just got off the phone with the owner. I will be picking the car up tomorrow afternoon. He did stop over this weekend with pictures. It is better in some areas than expected (body) but worse in others (interior). It didn't really matter though. I did buy it minus engine since the engine is not original and is modified. It was the only way I could afford it.

I will take alot of pics for everyone.

When you get a chance, post a picture of rear tailight panel that is painted black. I am looking to match this paint color and limits and I seem to remember this car still had it's original paint. Congrats on purchase.

That's great...I was wondering if you had any luck with the '77.

Congrats!

Congrats! Must feel great to know that you are bringing your Dad's 77 Z home. Now, if only I could find my Dad's 56 Chevrolet Belair convertible he bought new, right off the show room floor.

The car is an original black on black car. It does have the original paint. Would it be a different finish on the rear panel? I'll look tomorrow. Wait till you guys see the car. It is soooo dirty, inside and out. We are definately hitting a car wash on the way home.

That is cool! I bet your POP will be very happy! Are you and him together going to redo the car,or are you going to do it and surprise him! Either way he will be HAPPY! I would love to see that smile on his face.
