The value of the car has not been precisely determined, but Patrick estimates that it is worth anywhere from $250,000 to $1 million. Because the car has been off the streets since 1978 and has only one owner, it may have a higher value.

“I may be undervaluing it,” Patrick said. “There is a big following now for these original cars.”

"Blah blah blah, claims claims claims, 3. The VIN is not on the registry."

That's all I read.

Ok , the Yenko dealer adds value but what about the engine , according to the video was replaced under warranty wouldn’t that bring the value down on the car versus a car with its original engine?

This is why it's important to have a place where this is discussed. Once you have people like Hot Rod Magazine reaffirming Nichols claims, it sets the narrative as it being a real non-converted car.

The folks with the paperwork (Emme, Dernoshek) HAVE NOT publicly endorsed this car as an sYc, or have even noted it was on the list for conversion. Nichols is attempting erase all negativity associated with this car by blocking everyone who disputes his claims. Is Vince on this site? It would be great to hear what he has to say.

I agree, but how many people really know of this site, or any other for that matter. Most of us geezers, including myself, don't participate in social media much at all. Matter of fact I had never even heard of this site until just recently a friend of mine (a member here) told me about it, and I've been collecting muscle cars for 30-something years. My father for more than 50 years and he doesn't care about websites. Just goes to show that there are tons of collectors out there that still don't spend much time on a computer, and I'm one of them. But you can bet most all of them subscribe to one or more car magazines

That's why this site is so Important to Validate the cars that fall out of the Sky...…..The knowledge base here is way beyond any other site in regards to these Muscle Cars.....And the originality of these cars need to be vetted without any influence …… It seems the site is back on track again to do the validation correctly !!!!

I am seriously baffled by all of the people drinking the kool aid about this car being such a big deal because it is "unconverted". In my eyes it is just another BB Nova sold by Yenko so it is literally 1/3rd of the cool factor .. The hype on the hot rod instagram page is serious ... people are blood thirsty and going at anyone who knocks it down.
