Ouch...'66 #s Hemi Coronet Circle Track Car, Retired in '67
What a crazy story if true.... Car was ordered out of Mr Norm's in Chicago, burned in a garage fire, and sold to a guy who made it into a circle track car and basically destroyed it (assuming it was already pretty messed up from the fire). Retired in '67 and sat in a garage all these years. Kind of interesting but I wonder what a guy would really do with it considering the strong asking $$.

Seems like an odd carburetor choice for a race hemi, and I bet that kink in the fuel line is letting a lot of fuel through. A single master cylinder on a race car?

The carb looks to be a List 4543 which is a 850 cfm center squirter.
