Z11 Tag looks real but not seeing any RS or SS components? Single Fuel Line, battery look original...

Very strange, with a drum brake MC and a 68 engine. Something is up with this!

These items would be par for the course on a Canadian car Scott. If that car was used in that part of Canada a number of winters, rad hoses and terminals would be just a couple of parts store pieces that would find their way onto the car. The battery is what blows my mind - if it's original.

How about the black top and Firebird rear bumper?

No SS emblems on fenders, no RS wiper motor.

It was sold new in canada, it has the sticker on the front inner fender. That is a pretty fair price, if the vintage service paperwork is good. That trim tag has not been messed with, maybe it was in a wreck and rebuilt non-rs because it was cheaper to fix.

Who the hell knows what that car has been through in 50 odd years. I could see the front clip being replaced due to collision, but strange that the rear backup lights are missing. Unless maybe it got sandwiched and both front and rear sheetmetal were replaced with whatever was cheap and available. The black top would not surprise me - lots of white tops were replaced with black due to owners getting tired of trying to keep the white ones clean. Interior and trim tag look legit.
