Default X66 COPO @ Auburn

Went to the RM Auburn auction yesterday and saw a 69 COPO Camaro for sale in the car corral. Cortez silver over black std, 4 speed, 0513 BE rear, 06C build date. Looked to be nicely restored with spoilers added (no D80 on the tag). It had GM Canada docs along with an Ed Cuneen certification. I had never heard of an X66 COPO beyond the early Yenko conversions? For some dumb reason I didn't take any pics to post here.....

Never seen a 06C build Camaro before?? All the trim tags for June built Camaros I have seen are 06A, if it's a Norwood car.

Did you happen to note the asking price?

It belonged to Mershons and the asking price was 129,900. I took a picture of the trim tag but no other pics.

If the claim is a copo, then , of course, it would have to be a Norwood car. No 6C Camaros out of Norwood, as the quoted poster states.

Youd think the guy stamping the trim tag would know that....funny that a guy looking at my friends 19k copo w orig drivetrain backed out because he saw this car for 139k and decided to pursue it.

Do we know who restored the car?

Where in Canada did it come from?

I wonder if the 06C is a typo by the OP? and Should have been 05C?
The diff is a sat date in 1969 BTW. My Z is 06A, actually built June 21. 0602 diff date.
Any one know the vin of COPO?
