Default Help with old parts ID

Need some help ID'ing some old parts for a friend who recently purchased an old Chevy dealership out in the boonies and found these in the attic over the weekend.

One is a 6V armature - assuming for a generator, the other has an ID tag as a governor - looks like a carb part? When I googled the armature part #, one came up on e-bay and ID's as for farm equipment, another source said maybe 37-41 Chevy, just wondering if anyone here has better information.

Thanks in advance.
