Hey guys, for all who have chimed in earlier on this thread....
I was a little feisty with my opinions.....
Never meant to be so argumentitive or uneducated with stating anything other than an opinion.

I'm man enough on this Mother's Day. to extend my apologies for such feistiness......
(bad medicine day back then ).

Best wishes to all ,,,,
Regards,
Tom.

wasn't it common practice to keep your opponent guessing back in the day? so many cars and hp ratings then so why wouldn't one peel off a decal and keep others wondering what's really going on?

Regarding air cleaner sticker. Well this car in fact came with one. The remnants of the sticker and glue are visible. Also the tune up sticker was found in the glove box.

At a rating of 290hp I may have been inclined to remove mine. I purchased my first 69 Z in 1977.
