The sculpting is complete, and since I'm headed down the metal body fabricating road, no need to paint it. A mix of various leftover DP colors created this battleship gray which doesn't look too bad!
Time to get some metal and metal tools to start shaping! Cheers Dave

Dan, my plan is Dolomitengrau or Steingrau/Graphit Metallic (basically, a dark charcoal metallic) with a red interior. Kinda like this color combo. I’ll probably have to put the major work on hold until the airlines figure out what size they’re going to be due to this cough, but meanwhile, I’ll start on the grille, side vents, and other small items I can fabricate. Looks great Dave!! Hey, have you ever watched Seinfelds Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee? I watched an episode recently where he's driving a 507. He's driving around with Christoph Waltz. Very fun episode.

Thanks Guys! Yes, I’ve seen that episode Mark, and not sure the chassis number he’s driving, but yeah, funny show!
We’ll see what happens Bruce. I’m going to start forming the body regardless but will hold off on the donor chassis for now. I found another owner of a 507 and have hundreds of photos of his being restored which is really helpful. Friday I’m headed up to get the steel!!!! Cheers Dave
