These don't come on the market often enough to establish a sales trend. 4,048 L79 engine in all '67 Chevelle body styles. Some would pass on these because it's "Just a Malibu". In the past nicely restored examples have sold at Mecum for around $70-$80K, but as we know the market is crazy the last few years.

It appears unmolested, but need pix of stamps and TT, are there docs?? We have to assume it needs quarters and trunk floor at minimum, maybe frame rust???

Nicely equipped with M20 and KF 3.55 posi along with buckets and console. A later production car having the seat belt retractor clips on the console.

The 15K might be on the high side, but not much, depending on rust, numbers and at least some docs IMO. - Bill W

I know who bought it. He has the ability to restore it. He's done a '69 COPO Camaro and a '69 Z28, and probably many others that I don't know about.

That's great to hear. It looked like it may have been that plum color? It looked very original.
