An interesting car that has recently popped up. 1969 Chevelle SS (Malibu) with some interesting options. From my understanding, the early built 69s received the “Malibu” name plate on the quarter panels? Open discussion. |

Yes, some early Oshawa-built SS equipped 69 Chevelles did get the 'Malibu' script on the rear quarters. There's another one shown in Dale McIntosh's book on 69 Chevelles.
