According to ABC Entertainment President Channing Dungey, a live-action reboot of the classic cartoon is in the development stage at the network. The series is being executive produced by Robert Zemeckis, who directed films such as "Back to the Future" and "Forrest Gump."

In 1941, Thanksgiving was declared by Congress to be a legal holiday, held on the fourth Thursday in November.

The poinsettia, a traditional Christmas flower, originally grew in Mexico, where it is also known as the ‘Flower of the Holy Night’. Joel Poinsett first brought it to America in 1829.

Alabama was the first state to recognize Christmas as an official holiday, and the tradition began in 1836.

Ranch dressing contains titanium dioxide, which is used to make it appear whiter. The same ingredient is used in sunscreen and paint for the same effect.
