He has a large old collection of paperwork and is now giving it to people he likes for free. As you are doing a restore clone his pictures should be invaluble to you to make sure the car is correct. He will take care of you.

Geez...I remember when certain folks thought that Howard was one of those folks...when he put out a wish list for cars wanted.....

I remember posting some of Howards cool cars...and the rest is history!

Bob and Bruce,
I think this situation is a little different. Bob indeed sounded like a nice guy and was very nice on the phone. However, after sending him the Deuce VIN list in exchange for the Kline Chevrolet invoice for Dana's Yenko and then hearing all kinds of excuses as to why I might never see it just does not sit well with me. I am about as honest as they come and expect the same in return. I gave him what he wanted and offered to pay for what I wanted in exchange and for Dana's car ONLY and as of yet have NOTHING. He told me that all the paperwork was at "Bill's" house in Northern Minnesota yet proceded to tell me what the invoice said about Dana's car and even read me the VIN number to confirm it. I have done nothing malicious on my end but have received nothing but total B/S in return. The sad fact is, I don't even have anything to gain in all these efforts other than to help Dana (who also spoke with Bob).

Sorry to hear that, Rick. I honestly don't understand people. And the older I get, the less I seem to understand. In my book, your honesty and helpfulness being taken advantage of is not cool.

people, no body was taken avantage of, rick knows why he has not recieved anything from me. talked to the person he is working, for, and explained the problem. the list I got from them, was deleted, never printed. recieved 3 other lists, from other people, do not need theres, talked to dana , owner of car ricks working on , told him the problem, also told him I would hold the paper workwork on his car for HIM. My reason for being on this site waS to give away all the yenko, chev. material I have saved over the years ,begining in 68. As my time is short. leaving today for northern. MN.AS the weather has been bad up there untill a few days ago. to CHRIS working on the 68 clone, will send you the original pictures, when I return, for free. I can either give away my info now, or people can probably buy it on e-bay later. There is now, and never has been, any bad intensions on my part. This is the last post I will give on the negative posts. Bob krueger.

Why are you giving away paperwork if you are still restoring a 68 Yenko yourself? It is a nice gesture, but makes no sense.
