Default 69 camaro baldwin motion wing clone opinions

Hello fellow camaro enthusiasts. I'm trying to restore my 69 camaro and hope to build it to resemble a baldwin motion phase 3 car. I can't find a rear wing so I'm attempting to make my own. This is before fiberglassing. My question is does this look like a kid in shop class made it or do I have something going here. Please only respectful comments. Thanks

I had a pair of the spoilers form Larry. The wing was right. The posts were way wrong, both in shape and spacing.

Not a bad job so far there. Unfortunately, when I make something, usually by the 3rd attempt I have something I am satisfied with. Center post is smaller on the original and the rear slope on them isn't right. The ends you did look a bit too long and droopy. I applaud your effort since I've seen other attempts at clones take the easy way out and substitute something easy, like this:

I would reference this pic to fine tune yours.

The Green Camaro is probably my favorite Muscle Car of all time. I've never seen a clone of it I liked. I can't really explain it, but I just always feel let down by them- which is not the case on clones of other cars. Just be careful on what you do. If you plan on owning your cloned car for a long time, I would encourage you just to build the car with the vintage style you like vs copying the Green car. I think your satisfaction with the end result will more enduring.

Thanks for your insite. The thing is I really like the green car. I wanted a camaro that was different then every other car. If I can't find an original or make a replica of the wing then I'm keeping the lip spoiler that came on the car. I know some take t/a wings and use them but to fill in all the holes in my lid for the wrong wing doesn't make sense.

Well. I decided to make the spoiler a little more streamlined. I tapered the rear to 1/4 and pointed out the feet.

Isn't that spoiler a GT0, CUTLASS AND GSX SPOILER??? I think I read that somewhere.

No. I was a wing made for motion by fasglass. They are now fiberconcepts. I called on having a wing made but they never got back to me.

That looks really nice. I would wrap it up there. Best attempt i've seen so far.

Do you plan on copying the stripe too?
