Brock Yates was such a colorful character and writer. I would have loved to sat down and had a couple beers with that guy.

I remember Richard or you letting me sit in that bad boy when I was 6 years old!! RIP Shinkay

in 1963 Chevy lent GS #004 to the Yenko Gulf Oil Corvette team to run in CM class
shown with the two Yenko Gulf Oil Corvette team Z06 Corvettes that ran in AP
In 1963 the Grand Sport looked like a stock Corvette

There are lots of nice GS replicas out there, I wish someone would replicate one that looks like the early coupe above that closely resembles the stock Corvette.

Here's a fantastic thread started in 2020. I encourage everyone to use the SEARCH icon on the toolbar. It's amazing what information has accumulated on the various topics and threads in the 23 years of the site. This is a huge benefit over other social media platforms.

The #4 car is located in this museum, Naples Fl. I will be visiting friends in Naples late March and will be sure to take a tour of this car and the collection.

Roy Sinor was selling this car last year. It looked to have painstaking detail
