Default Camshaft tube. Is it worth anything?

I've been holding on to this camshaft tube for many years thinking that it might be worth something to someone. I installed this cam in a '69 Z28 many years ago, so this is just an empty tube. Is it worth anything?

I have bought boxes for NOS items I have that were without boxes, so yes, it does have some value, say somewhere between 10 to 20 dollars, maybe even more to a person in need.

It's a great conversation piece amongst the hardcore guys that love seeing this stuff but unfortunately it's also ripe for the unscrupulous folks that will slide a repo camshaft back in that tube and sell it as NOS.

Yes, I had thought about that. That's why I won't be putting it on ebay or craigslist. If I decide to sell it I will only list it here. There seems to be a good amount of integrity on this sight. I'm starting my parts purge, so this may have to go soon. I wish I knew who the owner of the car is. I think it would be nice if this had gone with the car.
