A little late to the party, but congratulations Rick on finding and saving such an important car - and knowing what an awesome job you'll do restoring it together makes this thread unmissable!

Cool

WOW!! In Mothballs for over 40 years and you got to dig it out, fantastic. Couldn't happen to a nicer couple. I'm sure the car will be a benchmark.

Congratulations to you and Annie...mums the word. Any plans of taking it to MCACN this year?

Thanks Cal. I doubt it will be far enough along by that time to show it but will try. Just wish I could have shown it in the Barn Finds section last November but that was right between the time I went and saw the car the 1at time and then purchased it so I was too late.

Some more interesting shots as far as originality goes. Not sure what the 215 signifies. Likely matches something on the buildsheet which we never found. Original date embossed mufflers and almost a month apart. Welded headpipe and slotted tailpipe. Original KQ rear. Original shocks. Rear package tray spray out detail. Original date stamped door panels. Original spring decals. Original vent tubes that appear to be missing the white plastic vent. Oh that should be fun to find and pay for!
