Default '70 Chevelle SS396 Convertible, NOM, Build Sheet

Nice car with what looks to be an authentic build sheet. NOM will hurt the value some, but I don't think the auto-to-4sp change will have any impact...if anything it may be more appealing.

Looks like a good car from the limited info provided - anyone know this one?

A word of caution: Seller's feedback is pretty weird to say the least.

I first saw this for sale @ Duffys in Iowa back in 1996 & had 25,152 miles on the odometer then. Not actual miles @ the time according to Duffys report.Had a CE260188 replacement block dated Jan 6th,1972 & was not frame off restored.Asking $24,000.00 and had a Protect-O plate back then..I have a Xerox copy of it with original owners name & address on it.
I still have a full Duffys 3 page report on it and it had it's original TH400 back then too.
I ran into this car once more in the mid 2000s in Grand Rapids Mi. Dan Heinicke was the 3rd owner then, and had owned it for 3 years while getting ready to sell it.It was showing 86,000 miles (Not actual) then. Was painted 8 years prior & still not frame off restored and he added aftermarket snaps to hold the top down too.
This car stood out to me then,as it came with the optional R79W Side Terminal battery, which was not the norm.
The build sheet is authentic, however I have no idea if this auction is real, based on the sellers previous negative feedback about scammer..
If you'll take notice, this car did NOT leave the factory with a working cowl Induction hood or stripes,or working gauges,or Ft.bumper guards, door edge guards, nor a Posi rear end.

The VIN of the subject Blue convertible is 136670K120845.
Pete, not sure how you connect the black car to the blue car, other than being from the same seller.
