Re: 69 Nova door frame molding installation
I did my 68 nova trim with very good luck. But mine were original not aftermarket. I still have a complete set of orignial trim if you aftermarket trim doesn't work. What was the actual problem they had installing the trim?

Re: 69 Nova door frame molding installation
this is the passenger side, they seem to have had an issue attaching to the permanent clips on the B pillar. the vertical has a bulge in it where I would imagine the clip is underneath, the top section is bent at the corner. this is the drivers side, now missing the vertical that must've flew off during the ride home Sunday. Re: 69 Nova door frame molding installation
oh man that sucks....Ok a couple things I see. The door trim has no clips it snaps over the door frame both pieces are this way. So if it has a buldge at the top most like likely it was bent during assembly. The quarter window trim clips look like the originals and are in the correct spot but must have not been correctly put into the trim. The clips need to go into the trim before it is installed. The bad..... is you have to take all the quarter glass channel out to get to the screws that hold that hockey stick trim piece in place.

ok, so first I need to remove those clips from the B pillar, and make sure they fit correctly in the new trim
