Default Muscle car review magazine

Does anybody know what happened to muscle car review magazine. I haven’t got any new ones since December. I think it was for January.

No, not digital. Succumbed to the general trend of print media these days, which is not enough interested subscribers. I received a post card saying I could sign up for a couple months of Motor Trend app or something like that, which I chose not to take advantage of.

Yup, unfortunately the issue we all got around 12-09-19 was to be the last...

We discussed it back then a bit here:

I still miss getting them.

Anthony

I didn’t see that discussion. I can’t believe that happened. I have just about every issue since 88-89.

Yeah, me too. I was talking with Drew a lot about it then - sad time all the way around.

Nice car. That’s neat that most of those cars I’ve seen in these magazines belong to members on here. I think it was two years ago I met Mark Hasset at Carlisle, he had his 71 Baldwin motion camaro. That was the first car in muscle car magazine I remember, I had just bought 71 Camaro. I remember showing the article to my stepdad and he said, we can paint your car like that if you want. I changed my mind at the last minute, went with z/28 stripes. The 70-73 B/M has become the car that I would love to have. From the time I was 12 years old 69 camaro was at the top of the list, but even in the late 80’s they were hard to find in my area. I could find 67-68 but passed on them holding out. That’s how i ended up with a 71, my stepdad came home from work and said I found a 71 SS 350. Wasn’t what I wanted but being 15 and not much money $400 was a steal. The 69 came 10 years laters

Yep, I was relieved that my wheel story was in that last issue too; it was a bitter sweet issue to get for sure. the whole crew was awesome to work with through the years!
