History of "Indy" branded T Handles
Hi Gents, looking for your input... what were the Indy T Handles all about?
Thanks, Dan

The Hurst Indy Shifter line was a lower cost option to the Hurst Competition Plus and other Hurst branded items
The Indy 3 and 4 speed Shifters were similar to the Hurst Competition Plus Shifters but had no stop bolts, some different materials and had "Indy" on the chrome stick instead of "Hurst" Hurst made Indy accessory items such as the tee handle and boots to go with the Indy shifters Hurst also sold the "Indy Matic" auto trans shifters and the Indy Universal shifters as low cost replacement shifters and probably sold other items with the Indy name |

Thanks for the information. I never knew much about them, and I have one in my Camaro. Seems to work well, but the T-handle was looking a little worse for wear so I took it off and polished it up. May swap it out for a white 4-gear ball as I like that look.

Scored this one for my NOS Hurst collection... Hadn't seen one before and now I can cross it off the list!
