The pics are posted under the "COPO Cars" Facebook page. More are there than what is shown above. Looks like a super clean car to me!

Looks like the best 40K that guy ever spent. Great stuff. Kudos.

Looks sweet to me. Where is all the rust and restoration needed that was mentioned earlier?

If it really was appraised at 40K I would love to know the name of the appraiser.

Charley, as I understand the buyer has wanted this car for years.
There was a family member that refused to pay the $40,000 and he sold
it to buyer .Don't know if there was an appraiser involved,I knew that
car was taken care of by original owner.

PS. Very doubtful there is a build sheet, but there is always a chance. There is a good likelihood of a computer card or two in the upholstery.
I think it would be a shame if anything but the original trim went back on this car. Swapping any trim for better or NOS GM parts would take away from this car.

Talking

This thing is amazing. Reminds me of Dennis Cumbys car. Obviously D's is a 70 but for sure the same flavor.

Very nice .. I just hope all of the right things happen with this car for all of the right reasons.

Cool car..and a great find...my guess the value of $225k probably has A LOT to do with PGN. Looked at a '70 LS6 he inspected which at best is a $20-25k car..rough as a cobb and no paperwork.. he told the owner it is a $50k + car...needless to say the owner believes the "internet guru," and thinks he has a $50k car and won't listen to actual real world offers.

Sadly it makes buying stuff for realistic value hard when an "internet" guru over values...and then has no intention of paying said value...I often see the same thing in US/German WW2 weapons...some "guru" says a piece is worth "X" but never actually produces "X" to buy the item...just muddies the water for the actual legit potential buyers.
