I believe that is a 1967 Camaro unit since it has only one indent for the distributor. The 1968 unit would have two indents for distributor and air pump.

Has anyone ever reproduced these in the past?
They look so trick under the hood and doesn't seem to be too difficult to make a high-quality one. Just curious- because you rarely see this on a car in person.

The reproductions are fiberglass, not steel.

The bottoms are steel; the housing, lid and plenum duct are fiberglass.

Do the reproduced ones use the same filter element? Have an original and can't find a filter to fit.
