I guess I deserve that.
I normally don't throw away anything. My garage, bedroom, closet and shed (and even the front formal game room right now!) are tesatments to that. I had no idea what it fit.
I feel like Klinger on MASH. He once said: "I don't deserve to be in the Army". Maybe I don't deserve to be in the hobby, throwing away a Corvette part. Ridiculous. I am so ashamed. Still, I promise with a capital "P", that is far from the dumbest thing I ever did.
Hmm... maybe I should start a thread. Top 5 dumbest things you ever did.

If you do decide to go with a "rules build" you'll have to change the carb. I don't know if they actually check carb numbers but you'll have to go with the smaller (4 1/2&quot air horn type of AFB.

Verne:
I think he is going with a rules build using the FI unit.

if you brought the car with that carb they would probably let you race but with the stipulation to change the carb for the next year's event. they are very understanding for first timers and want you to return. but again i would encourage you to call them. i think you'd have a good time.

When I show up, it will have the F.I. unit. I just dig F.I. cars

Make sure to take someone with you to take plenty of pics. I want to see that car in action.
