Great pics. That black cherry 70 Chevelle with the white stripes, roof and guts looks really nice.

In the late 1970s the car got painted from Olympic Gold to Burgundy.

As the car sits today. Wearing the same burgundy paint that was applied in the late 1970s.

I believe that Chevelle was owned by a Davenport cop. Only one I saw in the Quad cities back in the day. He partied with us in about 1971.
