Default 1969 SS Chevelle 309 Master Cylinder Code

What is the two letter code on the pad of a 1969 Disc Brake Master Cylinder in a Chevelle? Does the code run all year long or does it split? Thanks, Scott.

BA is the 309 code for chevelle with power disc brakes. Interesting to note, I have a late '69 numbers L78 here with a square master much like a '70. I think it's stamped BA but can't remember right off hand...it's in storage. I've been meaning to scrub it down and get a better look.

I've been meaning to start a conversation on TC regarding this. My L78 hasn't been on the road in over 40 years and is very original. Next time I get over there, I'll dig a little deeper.
