* ***** * is this with or without Sam's new found Line Loc love affair ?

Good spare size...now if an F70 X 14 then more popular size.

Maybe GTO Don can shed some light on the tire and rim value...

If Sam put this tire on his Z28...well it would not be worth much when he got done with it!

And that cap might just spin off some how!

'67 Camaro disc brake wheel with original D70 redline. $100 for the valve cap according to the valve cap ad in the parts classifieds. DG wheel worth 50-100. Original '67 style redline with the redline out farther on the whitewall than a Coker redline. You'd think a SS350/396 with discs owner would want it for $150-ish? (Mine's a drum brake car, otherwise it'd make a great spare.)

I have to disagree with the XA rally wheel info. 3901325 was changed to 3918077 and clearly shows XA as a disc brake application. The only non disc brake rally wheel made was the XN. I have provided pictures form parts books to support my claims. I will get a picture of the earlier catalog soon.

That tire & wheel combo is for the 67 camaro SS with disc brakes. The repop tire stripe is incorrect and located in a different position. That is very valuable to anyone owning a survivor car. In fact at MCACN we had a 67 IPC in the vintage display sporting 4 original D 70 14 redlines just like this one. I'd say the tire is worth $1000ish, plus wheel and valve cap.

I've got a pair of those wheels. They are definitely a "different" looking wheel compared to '98-up rallys. The differences are pretty obvious when you put them side-by-side with a '68 14x6 wheel.

What's an NOS Firestone F70 X 15 redline tire worth?

The "XA" rim IS a disc brake rim...just not on any 67/68 4 piston caliper factory set-up. 69 single caliper will work factory

Disc but not 4-piston. There is no room for the caliper as in the "DA" rim. It kind of bulges out to fit the calipers. I had

the "XA" rims at one time but sold them with letting them know what they will work with. MY 67 Nova SS was one of the 565

sets or cars made with factory Disc brakes but were taken off in the 70's due to leaking calipers. Took me 15 years to find

the M/C then I found three...go figure. The D70 tire/rim/cap is a great find and like said.. great spare for a survivor car.
