Best way to get an approximate value of car before selling
I am going to be putting my 1969 Corvette up for sale but, before I do, I would like to get an honest idea of what it could bring in today's market.
Trying to use EBay or Barrett-Jackson as a gauge is senseless. I have looked at what people ask for their cars on the Corvette Forum but, in my opinion, that isn't a good gauge either. So, I am putting it out to the group here; any recommendations regarding the best way to get an idea of the value before listing it? I am hoping to be able to put it on the market within the next couple of weeks so any help would be greatly appreciated. |

Dave - as you probably know, we’ve got a number of knowledgeable Corvette guys around here that can give you some useful input. I would just put a “What’s-it-worth” thread together with lots of hi res pix and docs and details about your car. You can always ask the Corvette gurus to respond to you via p.m. or let them post here. Let er rip!!!!!

I sent a PM to one of the moderators asking if it would be okay to start a "what's it worth" thread but, haven't received a reply yet.
