An A12 rear would have been around February or April, plus or minus a bit based on build date of the car. That's just a rough estimate, but the date on your rear is too late, and A12s only came with 4.10 gears as well. Hope that helps! </div></div>

Right you are, the A12 were batch cars....forgot about that. Isn't the '71-'72 fuselage body B-bodies fitted with a wider Dana than the '70 b-body though - by a couple inches? </div></div>

Technically yes - they had two SPD's....329 and 426...but they were more or less built to almost the end of the model year.

Measured the width and from outside to outside of flange, is 54 7/8 ,found these other numbers stamped on rear and carrier ,here are some pics ,tried to get both numbers in one picture on the carrier but the first number 8 is not recognizable due to bad photo skills. Thanks for the feed back.

We already know what kind of rear it is - 603109-2....70-72 and up B-Body, 3.54 Powerlock.

Based on the dates - it is for a 70 model year B-Body.

What are you thinking of putting it in?

It would be a shame not to find it a home in a chrysler,it pushed a chevy for years in the late 80s early 90s.

I see them go for 1500-2500 depending on condition and application. E-body Dana's are worth a little more than B-body.....but still a good piece!
