Default 67 A Body Frame

I am looking for a 67 A body convertible frame. I believe chevelle, gto, lemans, cutlass, and skylark are all the same. I will consider a parts car IF the frame is clean.

chevelle is chevelle only..its shorter overall

cutlass is diff in the front for the huge cross flow radiator

skylark and gto are the same

67 is 67

4 doors interchange with 2 doors in the early years...

lemans and skylark work under a chevelle, but you have to chop them up in the rear to shorten them

convert is tuff to get anymore...real tuff

so what are you working on?

67 SS convert. The frame was absolutely trashed. From what i understand skylark, gto, and el camino will work but need to be shortened behind the rear axle area. Is that right?

yes..chop the rear..theres stuff all over the internet...it actually has to be sectioned, you just dont cut the rear cross member off and move it..

personally..find a nice hardtop frame or 4 door frame ( the four door is how you steal one)..and buy the helwig frame FX boxing kit...it could really pass as a stock boxed frame, unless you had it on a lift..plus it picks up an extra body mount and makes it ride better..done it more than a few times

67 is 67 because of the 400 turbo and the rear spring pockets, you could modify an early one by using your trans brackets and the spring pockets in the rear...

then you could get a 64-67..

i just sold a 67 lemans convert frame bare for 3K i could have gotten more...but i threw a ridiculous number out and he jumped..i didnt really want to sell it ..they are so hard to get...almost impossible in 2018

all 65-67 GS Buicks have convert frames...all of them, originally..coupe hardtop etc..its part of the GS package
