Default Barrett Jackson Mohegan Sun CT.

Just wondering who's planning on attending, buying or selling. It should be interesting to see the quality of cars based on this being the inaugural auction at this venue.

They are really bouncing this auction around. This is technically the auction that they added for Orange county which then went to hot august nights in Reno and now again to Mohegan sun. If anyone does go please share photos ... Its going to be interesting. Maybe we will get more car coverage and less yapping by the hired help ... unless it is Justin Bell or Ray Evernham ... I can deal with those guys, but please lets not invite Chris Jacobs

Was gonna go, couldn't get it together logistically, all hotels were sold out within 50 miles of the place. Expecting big crowds I'm hearing and a lot of buzz on it here on LI. Hopefully it works out and becomes a steady stop on the BJ circus tour

I was hoping to go Saturday but a friend is coming to town to race at the Riverhead Raceway in the feature 200 lap event. Also I didn't see any cars listed that I had to have. I hope that it is a huge success as well, and becomes an annual auction.

JMO, but it's going to be tougher to establish an event with the generic location title "Barrett Jackson Northeast". Hopefully it takes, "Mecum-Seattle" didn't.

The show sold out in 1 1/2 Hours on Thursday . They say over 25,000 people went on Thursday only to be turned back. A full casino on a Thursday morning is pretty rare. They had to work out alot of glitches as it was a new venue ,they did a good job of that and changed things from day to day. Lots of confusion the first day . Certainly not alot of documented muscle cars there , Most late 40s and 50s pickups all did strong $$ 25-45K,and there were a ton of them ..seemed like one every 5-10 cars....

My brother has a locksmith business in the Mystic area. He went over to the auction on Thursday to see if they needed any help with lost keys (actually to look at the cars). Wound up helping the BJ locksmith & enjoying the cars for the day; the crowd was incredible.

Good to see Barrett doing well there. They couldn't do it in Las Vegas and Reno as well. I think the close proximity of Jan Scottsdale sucks the life out of those 2.

Interesting to see a Marroon 435 convertible w tank sticker go thru for 105K,and then two cars after it another Marroon L89 convertible clone twin to the 435hp car with no big block paperwork, go for 145K .... Strangest sale of the show was a low dollar resto 69 Z28 "recreation" that went for 55K plus 10% Seems to me a better condition real Z would bring less. L89 fake convertible did around 130K, why bother looking for real cars to resell ?????? Just build clones
