Default Air Cleaner Identification

I was reading the post about the l-78 Camaro and it got me to wondering if anyone could help me identify the air cleaner that came with my '71 SS454 El Camino. It was lying in the back so I have no idea what it really is. Is it correct for my car or just what the heck is it? You can see it here. http://www.ss454elcamino.com Just click on the restoration link and there is a link to the pictures there.

If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it!

Thanks!

Thanks Joe!

It is my understanding that other than the 'vettes there were no LS6's in '71. So would this air cleaner be correct for a Corvette? Interestingly, my ElCamino has a white faced 6500 RPM redline tach, but I was told those were just leftovers from the planned '71 LS6 that never happened. The original engine in mine is long gone so that is of no help.

Ideas?

SS454Elky,
Detuned version LS-6 Factory rated 425hp '71, at least on the Chevelle. Ideas?? ---Go with that dual-snorkel set-up since you have the 6500 red/line tach IMO.----JoeG
Just checked--Your correct --only LS-5-365HP engine for '71 EL/CAM. . [ Found a picture of an original LS-6 '71 Vette, with dual snorkel air cleaner ]

Here's a pic of one '71 LS-6 Corvette that has a BloomingtonGold and NCRS award. Not sure maybe some got the dual-snorkle.
BTW, this is the same air cleaner that was used on '70 L-34 Camaros.

ChrisS,
Just found an actual photo like that after going thru about 20 searches--I wish you would have stopped me sooner ---That dual snorkel picture I originally found was a factory drawing--so scratch one drawing!!---JoeG

NOPE!!--My mistake--the drawing was rendition of 19701/2 Corvette LS-6 engine--oops ----The drawing does look like your air cleaner,------I still think the dual-snorkel still looks neat. IMO
