Default Yenko Chevelle at Mecum Harrisburg

Greetings. It has been a while since I have made a post. I am hoping with the depth of info from the members here, someone has some additional background on this Yenko Chevelle that is running at Mecum Harrisburg.

https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/PA0...velle/4-Speed/

The auction listing is interesting. Can anyone add any additional details?

Thanks SYC!!

Sharp. Someone knows how to handle a camera. The salesman's spelling was Howard <span style="font-style: italic"><span style="font-weight: bold">Livezey</span></span> as he sold my former YENKO Nova to the Roofs. Howard sold another YENKO Chevelle to Tony Montini from Monaca, PA.

Sounds like this one, a stick car as the story unfolds...

Is this VIN 136379B395089 or 136379B394778 or?

----Pete,,,The car at auction is a 3-pedal car, and the one in the old thread seems to be an automatic. As well, the two owner story wouldn't seem to corellate.....Bill S

I too was thinking 395089 (FG, 4sp, no v/t), but Sherk is listed as the original owner which conflicts with the Mecum description - not saying Yenko's Inventory Sheets are correct, but it's difficult to determine. The other possibility is 385667 (FG, 4sp, no v/t), but I'm not sure what dealer sold that one.

Either way, I don't have any info on either of these 2 cars, so it would be good to know the VIN of this one at the auction.

Is 136379B385667 known as Yenko delivered Marl?
As for the Sherk/Gresko names, did two 4-Spd. FG Yenko 'Velles end up in Wexford PA?

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">It belonged to a Auto Body Repair specialist that worked at McAfee Automotive on route 19 in Wexford, PA. Does anyone here own that car? It was a automatic car I believe. It did not have stripes on it then.</div></div>

Back in 2002, I had a hood painted at a body shop in Wexford on rt 19 near where I-79 crosses over. I was living in McCandles twp and working in Warrendale at the time. This was a collision repair on my Mustang GT.

I noticed a '69 Chevelle body shell in pieces in the back of the shop. I asked the guy about it, and he swore it was a real genuine Yenko that he owned since the early-1980s and was restoring.

I never thought much of it at the time. Lots of people claim a one-of-one/COPO/Yenko/Shelby/Motion whatever, and most are lying. Seeing this post and reading that other thread really makes me wonder....
