Anybody have a painted XT wheel that still has factory paint. I could use a picture of the back side please. Thank you, Joe

I have all 5 of mine on a shelf in the basement. I will try to take a pic or two when I get a chance.

Thanks Anthony
Trying to see how much was over sprayed on the back of the wheel. Even after telling the painters not to create over spray, I think they did....Joe

Over at CRG there is a good description on how these wheels were painted. I followed that when I had my XT's painted, the factory method would naturally produce body-colored overspray on the OD and backside.

I’m very happy with how they turned out.

I went to great lengths to replicate the overspray, or more correctly, "throughspray" on the spare of my Yenko tribute, as the others were Torque Thrust O's. My painter thought I was a little nuts.

He also thought I was nuts when I asked him to put a glove smear in the paint inside one of the cutouts for the deck lid spoiler bolts.

I got the hairy eyeball from my painter also when I requested certain things....Joe

Same here, had to explain it to the painter twice. Not quite as heavy as the HO pic you have Joe, but I'm sure there was some variation.
