Still the single BEST sitcom ever on TV,,,,& So original the concept.
Petty coat Junction, Green Acres, and a few more spun off from that. even Here Haw was conceived in conjunction with Hillbilly popularity. .. She was purely a natural in her role. godbless

Such a beauty to our young minds and eyes watching the show...especially compared to Nancy Kulp. I loved Green Acres also P'Junction too and always hoped to visit Hootersville someday...and catch the Bradley girls bathing in the water tower! Thanks Elly May and RIP. ~ Pete

ohhhh yesssss.....as a preteen/teen I watched the water tank scene week after week upclose hoping the towels would slip or the girls to pop up a little higher... .what a site in Hooterville
that would have been....
