Default Big Block Alum intake bolts

Did a search to no avail.... Trying to get the right fasteners in the right place to bolt up my alum. intake. I'm confused as to where the stud bolts go vs the regular bolts. One for the alternator bracket and one for the fuel Y block. Stud bolt anywhere else?

Yup; 3 on the LH side near the carb. This is from the ZL1 engine manual but same as L72.

Two of them were used for the idle solenoid bracket some auto cars received. It's in the M40 section of the AIM, page A10. No idea what the third stud was intended for.

Fuel line bracket was a late production [June?] addition.

The three studs on the driver's side of the intake are for automatic equipped cars, i.e., the idle solenoid bracket and the TH 400 Kickdown bracket. Don.

The kick down bracket mounts on a carb stud, not the intake.

Thanks for the feedback guys. So would a manual equipped car just get the two studs on the passenger side or did all get the same regardless of trans selection?

All three, as shown in original pics of ZL1 #3. Nothing mounted on them.

Thanks, William, concerning the kickdown bracket mounting. Had a brain fart, should have known better. It's hell to get OLD! Don.
