It says on the GM ad, :select any engine option you want". Wonder how many were built as big blocks?

None. It wasn't an SS - just a Camaro so you could choose only one of the small V8s like the 307 or the 350-2V or the "big 6." The 327 had been discontinued by the time the Denver Hugger Camaro was made available

The ''Boss Lady'' was campaigned out of Luby Chevrolet in Baltimore, MD. The dealership was owned by a woman named Betty Wagelstein hence the name of the race car.
