Default Looking for a 2500HD 8.1L Truck

Not sure if this is the right place for this, didn't quite seem appropriate in the Supercar/Musclecar Wanted section.
I'm looking to replace my current truck and am looking for some help in locating the truck I am looking for. Since I live in the rust belt it's hard to find something rust free. So what I'm looking for is:
2004 - 2007 Sierra/Silverado 2500HD 4x4 with the 8.1L engine and Allison Transmission with ~125,000 +/- 25,000 miles.
Prefer White (will consider Black), prefer crew cab (will consider extended cab) but must be short bed, and be free of any notable rust.
I've been looking in the local area for a while and have come up empty, lotsa diesels or rust...I don't drive the truck enough to run the diesel as much as it should be...so I figured I'd ask the help of you guys in case you come across something.
Feel free to pm, email: faeichhorst(at)gmail.com or text me at 920-901-51O8 with any leads.
All help is appreciated!

I had a 2000 model, loved it except for the fact that it drank gas in a big way. But everything does pulling something

I've got a 2001 with 250k on it. Great truck. Honestly, after comparing things i think the 8.1 is only like 1-3 mpg behind a 6.0. Love the Allison trans on the gas motor too. You should be able to find the truck you desire.

On whatever truck you find, make sure that the brake and fuel lines have been replaced. It doesn't matter if it was from a dry area - just one exposure in its lifetime and the mild steel, uncoated lines used in these applications start corroding.

8.1 Suburbans/ Yukons are rare birds. I'm in the business and can tell you that they are hard to find and hold their value very well. I just passed on an '11 with 166k miles that looked like 6k. Shoulda/coulda/woulda but didn't! My dad told me never look back!

Good point on the brake lines. Use that fact during negotiations. The trucks are easier to replace lines on than the SUVs. I've only done 1 line on my rear axle because it looked bad. My wife's Yukon has had them all replaced.

Thanks for the lead Charley...my understanding is that the Suburban and Avalanche with the 8.1s did not come with the Allison trans, rather the 4L85E. I would prefer a Truck with the Allison, but may consider the 'Burbon if I can't come across the right truck.

Guys I also appreciate the advice on the brake lines...it's obviously a well-known issue.
