Default '65 #s 396/425hp/4-sp/4.56 Impala Super Sport

About as good as it gets for a '65. I suppose a convertible would be just a little more outrageous.

Default Ditto ^^^^^

Did we miss something in the photos?

I’m like Bill, where the heck is the interior and this Big V8?

Maybe that’s why it’s sitting high in the front.

Others I've seen are similar to this silver one, but, here is a 28,000 mile original owner, original paint, survivor that was at MCACN a couple years ago. This looks more correct to me??

I thought the 396-425 horsepower engine was only offered in the Corvette?

The 396/425 L78 was available in Corvette & Full Size Chevrolet’s in 1965. Silver car has correct emblem placement, red car does not.

Here is a REAL '65 L78 M22 4.56 BelAir that I have known since new. It's accounted for in Colvin's Chevrolet by the numbers. OO has the W/S, ordered it in Feb '65, took delivery in June. His son is a member here.

The red 65 I believe is Dennis Sherman’s original paint car.
