Default 1965 Corvette Survivor

The Betty Skelton Survivor 1965 Corvette. This car has significant history of being delivered to Chevrolet Central Office in 1964 where is it believed to be featured in several print ads running during the 1965 campaign. Then in May of 1965 the Corvette legend Betty Skelton acquired the car as the original owner. During the 1960s Betty Skelton and Joe Pike were the #1 and #2 marketing executives for Campbell-Ewald on the Corvette program. Betty's history to the Corvette and Chevrolet through the 1950s and 1960s was very significant. The car does have some paperwork including the P-O-P with Betty's name and the NCRS shipping report showing the car being delivered to Chevrolet Central Office. Someone with more Corvette connections could probably trace more of the car's history. The car has been featured in the Corvette Museum, Vette magazine, MSN.com, MCACN, and many corvette sites across the web. The car is preserved with at least 95% original paint, interior, glass, drivetrain, wheels, glass, etc. Virtually untouched car. Car runs great, but needs a little TLC.

Original Options include: L79, M20, Power Windows, Power Brakes, AM/FM, Off Road Exhaust, 3.70 rear, Comfort and Convenience Group, Telescopic Wheel.

I had this car for sale for a very short time last year, but decided the time wasn't right and pulled the ad. Ready to sell the car now.

Asking $62,000 Serious inquires only. More pictures available upon request.
This car has great history, ownership, and tremendous upside in value.
