Arrow 1970 Chevelle SS 396 L34 Green Mist California Partial Survivor

Many Chevelle and Muscle Car Fans consider the 1970 Chevelle SS to be America’s favourite Muscle Car and This SS 396 with L34 350 HP Motor has less than 59,500 Original miles. Painted Mist Green with Black Stripes, Green Vinyl Top and Green Vinyl Bench Seat interior. Body, Floors and Trunk are all solid original sheet metal and never restored along with the complete “Born With” Drive train which includes Motor, Turbo 400 Transmission and Rear Axle. Scheduled build date of this car was the 5th week of January 1970 on the Cowl Tag. Car was sold out of Smith Chevrolet in Turlock CA. when new as it was a dealer stock car later sold to Loraine Sandberg. Built out of the Arlington Texas GM Plant.
This 70 Chevelle SS I'm presenting and consigning today is a superb example of a very nice looking turn-key high quality Partial Survivor with the original vinyl roof, untouched under carriage and trunk with only one re paint done in the past. Documents include Protect-O-Plate, Past Title slips with service records and History of all the owners. IMO because the car has never been apart I believe there still may be an Original Build Sheet in the car maybe under the gas tank or under the floor boards tar mats as Arlington Texas SS’s are known for these locations for a build sheet. Trunk still retains its original mat and Firestone Wide Oval spare tire with the complete jack assembly.
Factory Options Include >>> A39 Custom Deluxe Seat Belts, C08 Green Vinyl Roof, C60 Air Conditioning, M40 Turbo 400 Automatic Transmission, N40 Power Steering, U35 Clock, UM2 AM-FM 8 Track Stereo Radio and the Z25 SS 396 Package.
It does have Black Stripes but they were added when the car was painted the one and only time by a previous owner, Rear stripes were applied to wide and also front hood pins were added to the early designed SS domed hood.
Car runs and starts fantastic. The car has never had a frame off restoration and the undercarriage is solid and rust free still showing most of its Arlington Gray/Greenish primer. A/C does operate like it should blowing COLD air.
Paint is in show room condition along with excellent chrome and trim with no dents or scratches.
Because this car was ordered by a California dealer or address it does have the rare complete NA9 California Emissions’ Evaporation Control System with the Canister to Vacuum lines to carb to the gas tank undisturbed and complete.
All the components on the car are assembly line parts like the Radiator, Carb, Alternator, Starter, Distributor etc…
Serious Buyers Only, PM me.
Car is located in North Carolina, Charlotte Area.
Price: $45,000 FIRM
Thank You sYc

A DVD video of the car from 1993 when it was brought to PA from a former OR owner also comes with the car.

All the documentation from the owners in the 80's and 90's align and confirm the cars originality. It was repainted in 1987 with a receipt to be included with the car.

Check out the sign in the first picture from 1995, Today the car is still under 60,000 miles.
These 3 photos are from 1995 when the car wore different tires.
