I can only speak for my truck. The old school way compared the indicator is pretty close. I've been checking it and one will be like 11.6 and other 11.3. Reading other forums it sounds like GM is pessimistic actually reading in your favor. Larry

Don't feel bad. I bought a brand new Harley a few years ago and it turned 22 on June 5th...
I bought my Silverado at 4 yrs old a couple yrs ago and it's now 11 yrs old. How the heck does this happen ???
