----Len Immke Buick was at one time the largest Buick dealership in the world. He and his friend, Dave of Wendy's fame started Wendy's because Len wanted a good place for his employees to go to lunch close by. Len was a heavy investor and made a fortune on Wendy's stock as did many others he recommended the stock to. Len was an avid classic car collector, sometimes buying or selling a dozen cars at a time. I worked for an older classic Buick expert on Cape Cod for several summers that sold him, probably, 100's of cars and visited the Buick dealership many times!
----Oh, I have a question about GSX's. Were they all Stage 1's even though they didn't have the emblems?.....Bill S

The 70 GSX's came standard with a 455 and the 455 Stage 1 was optional. The 71 & 72 GSX's came standard with a 350 and the 455 and the 455 Stage 1 were optional. I don't know why the GSX's don't have Stage 1 emblems like the GS's do.

When this car appeared at Blooming Gold a couple of years ago the writeup on it said that the 32 year old original owner of the car was killed in a nearly head on collision he had while driving the car. I don't know what his name was. The car underwent a 10 year restoration to get it back to the condition it is in now. The car does retain it's original engine. I don't know how much of the body or anything else is original to the car.

This Ebony Black 66 442 W-30 F85 coupe was restored by Level One Restoration. I'm not sure which one of the 54 built this is or where it was sold new. It was a Gold Concours winner. P. Mitchell had it at the show.
