I just gotta stop looking at the photos of this car because my checking account is getting nervous. I’ve already installed dog dish caps in my mind’s eye!

Nobody loves this car more than me, but I’d have to see it in person before bidding. ‘65s are notorious for the left rear body mount (visible in wheel house) rotting and eating it’s way into the trunk. First place I look on ‘64-‘65s. Kinda hard to tell because of the spatter paint (which shouldn’t be there; the inside of the trunk should be body color) and the trunk mat. I REALLY dig this car, and if it was a post model, I would’ve made a play for it the first time it was offered. Be nice to see pics of it before the last respray.

----The rear chrome trim from tail-light to tail-light appears nice on this 65 but it almost never is on 65's. That trim in good condition is so hard to find that a buddy of mine found a shop to make him a new one. It was frightfully expensive back ten or so years ago at $3,000!.....Bill S
