Default New to me 69 Chevelle SS

Hello,
I had created a post in the wanted section looking for a 68-69 Chevelle SS. I had a few members respond to me and I eventually bought a 1969 Chevelle SS 396 from a member!
I wont mention his name but if he wants to respond here that's great and if not that's fine too. It was a very good experience and the seller was very helpful and understanding and a great person to buy a car from!

The car is a genuine Chevelle SS 396. I have the original disassembled engine with the matching VIN# on it. Its a lower optioned car with the base 325hp engine and a bench seat with a manual trans. It currently has a 454, an M21 trans and a 3:31 posi rear.
Its not perfect and that's ok. Overall it is exactly what I was looking for and im super excited to own it.

I will try to post some pics below and I will possibly have some questions too.
Thank you

Mike,

Congrats and well done.....I love the Color Combo.
Hard to beat any 1969 Chevelle with a Parchment Bench Seat with a 4 Speed

Looks like the Door Panels are PUI Brand and are starting to delaminate, very typical.

Under the hood looks very nice....I would redo the Brake Booster and Master Cylinder, if you choose to....use Mike at Brakebooster.com
I like the Orange Painted Day2 Valve Covers and Headers.
Are you missing both horns?

Love your new 1969 SS396 Chevelle

Dan

Love it. Just another perfect example of a Day II car you can drive every day and enjoy the hell out of it. Congratulations!
