Default SCR Drag racing do's and don'ts

OK, new to the drag racing stuff. Someone a while ago posted about items needed to race at the reunion. Is there a "required" tech list to race..other than a helmet and a car . I'm starting to gather my stuff and finish prepping the car..I can't wait!.. I'm like Flounder from Animal House " Oh Boy is this great"!!!!
Thanks
ALbert

Over flow tank, long pants, helmet, 2 return springs on your carb. The rest is mainly common sense stuff like making sure you have all the lug nuts and they are tight, no big fluid leaks etc..... You can use your windshield washer bottle for the overflow tank by just running a hose from the radiator to it.

Rob/Tom...can you help us out here please....I can't remember what the time cut-off is for helmets. All I know is that I didn't get anywhere near!!!!! Seems like it was a 12 sec run or under that would require a helemt? Or was it 14 secs? In any case, I will have an extra helemt for any who might need it.

Al, A lot of people here in AZ use sweat pants over their shorts while racing. That way...they can come off fast at the end of the run...

A,
As I recall from last year, anyone running UNDER 14.00 needs a helmet.
Can't speak for you Curly, but I'm pretty sure I'm safe! (However, the Vintage Bell 500 is in the trailer)
