Default '69 Chevelle SS396, Orig Black on Black 325hp 4-sp Project

Great color combo, obviously, but having owned a lot of Chevelles in my lifetime I've never had one that needed the rockers replaced. The car looked pretty decent pre-resto but I suppose pics can be deceiving.

Neat car for sure, but I think the seller is going to struggle to get the $25k ask with the car in the middle of restoration.

Amen to that. Also, that is one funky looking VIN tag pictured on the car...listing shows a Kansas VIN (can't tell from the VIN plate) but a Baltimore TT

The VIN in the listing shows the Baltimore assembly plant. The VIN tag looks like it’s been heavily painted over and some of the characters were not showing through.

Actually, I see now that the listing shows two different VINs....in the left column is a Baltimore VIN and in the right column (which I initially noticed) is a Kansas VIN.

Now I see it. Both VINs don’t show up on the mobile version unless you click for more information.
