Looks like many original parts, and a BV car as well. Nice project car for sure.

Right off, the black tail pan makes me wonder about a statement like this: "Whole car is all original right down to the engine components". Not saying it's a bad car, but I doubt that's original.

Black grill too...

I like the firewall stamps but distributor date does not line up to the cars build date. A little early.

I was offered this car last spring and passed because the body. Very cool car that is mostly original but rusty. It came out of Northern Westchester recently. I suspect this is a flip effort. Cool car for a patina mobile like my shit box or a drive now/restore later option too.

Hi Dan, I’m from northern westchester myself. Care to share the town it was from? I Don’t remember hearing or seeing this camaro around. Thanks Rob

It has some nice options, and HO is a plus for future value. I always get a little nervous when you see a motor that supposedly has all the machine work done on it but it was never assembled. Who knows whether the guy doing the work knew his ass from his elbow! I guess you can run into the same thing with a fully assembled engine, but at least you might have the opportunity to run the engine on a test cart. I guess you could drag your machinist and his micrometers along to examine it. Along with your bodyman.

Black vinyl roof meant black stripes. No black vinyl, white stripes.
