Default '68 Mustang GT #s 390/4-sp, Time Capsule...to say the least

Here's a decades-old garage find from my hometown. Reminds me of the stuff we used to see in cruising around in the mid-late 1980s.

Those mudflaps...and that interior.

Oh man, that’s straight out of the JC Whitney catalog! Flaming blue balls on the hood followed by a callout on the side, and not one pair, but TWO pairs of fog lights both amber and clear? Are you kidding me?

This thing needs a Mustangs Unlimited catalog thrown at it with the addition of a new fastback roof to improve aesthetics.

Cheers
Dave

JC Whitney or What were they thinking on Day 2?

So I'm gonna remove the GT emblems and factory fog lights and add two sets of rectangular ones.

Glad it's still here!

Yep! You have to be secure in your masculinity to have that written on the side of your car! Sounds like something that an angry ex-girlfriend would spray paint on it.

That was a pretty car when new. Gulfstream Aqua over black.

Winning bid $9766. No shortage of gages in the interior! "Secure in your masculinity", or totally clueless

I must confess to having two sets of halogen fog lights mounted on the front of my '76 Camaro when I was in high school. That was also before I discovered relays, so I was always wondering why I kept melting switches under my dash. I probably looked like a UFO coming down the road at night. Also had the CanAm style "cow catcher" front spoiler mounted on the front. Couldn't tell you how many times I busted up that spoiler on curbs and speed bumps. Had the smoked covers on the headlights too. I thought I was all that.
