Default US Wheel vs. Cragar SS

Has anyone looked at the new US Wheel 5 spoke, super spoke, mags vs. the new style Cragar SS wheels??

It looks to me from the Summit and Jegs photographs that the US Wheels have the old style "round spoke" look to their mags vs. the "flat" spoke on the new style Cragars...

I just looked at them. Now that's a much better looking design than the flat spoke redesign offered by Cragar. They'd have my vote as a more original looking design.

The spokes are thinner. Nice looking wheels, but I'd have to know the center caps interchanged before I'd bolt a set on my ride.

Not saying they are anything other than a repro Sam. But they are better looking than that flat spoke stuff Cragar is peddling as an SS wheel today.

Originals will always be original.

Excellent question Norcam. I've been looking at those for a while and they're priced pretty reasonably and look pretty close to the old style Cragars.

I went to the US Wheel web sight and looked at some pictures of cars with those wheels installed. They look more like the flat spoke Cragars in the pictures, not what the above picture looks like. https://www.uswheel.com/wheel/7684/u...2/?finishID=1# Click on the pictures of the cars.

Freddie, I agree with you. I just looked at the customer cars also and they look flat. The above picture is deceiving I guess.. Might have to actually see them in person

Yup...they do look flat. Must come from the same Chinese factory as the new Cragar's. (lol)
